Best friends from school Joanne, the sweet and naive country girl, confident Mary and Kathy, the planner, remember their adventures through high school, college and their professional life.  Popular cheerleaders at school, the three girls initially plan to live together after college but life takes them on quite different journeys.

Enjoyed the show studio was very small not much leg room, but the cast of 3 was excellant.

Very definitely a 5 star rating for this excellent show. Not being familiar with the play I wasn't sure what to expect but we were treated to an amusing and touching portrait of three friends at varying points in their lives. The music fitted well & I look forward to a recording of the show so I can hear it again. I laughed but also I cried, and I wasn't alone! But that's the show... The performances were outstanding. Just a three hander so jolly hard work for the actresses concerned who all carried it off apparently effortlessly. I was impressed that the accents started very Southern but as two of the characters became more cosmopolitan their accents softened a little. The set was ingenious and loved how it all fitted together so easily to become different settings, and accommodated difficult costume changes. All in all a superb afternoon that I can't recommend highly enough. This show deserves to be seen by a much larger audience & I look forward to its move to a West End Theatre.

A great show by three polished accomplished performers. My one observation is that in the opening number the music was a little too loud and tended to drown out the performers.

Each of the actresses have amazing voices.... Loved the show :-)

Paul Nicholson

Great musical. Top class performances from the 3 leading ladies. Great set, lighting and sound designs in this compact theatre. Highly recommended

Andreas Kythreotis

Great little venue paired nicely with a brilliantly produced musical with lots of heart. The performances from all three players were outstanding.

Review: Vanities The Musical At Trafalgar Studios

Vanities: The Musical at Trafalgar Studios 2 chronicles the life-affirming journey of three vivacious Texas teens from cheerleaders to sorority sisters to housewives, liberated women and beyond. This musical captures a snapshot-sharp portrait of the lives, loves, disappointments and dreams of these young women growing up during the turbulent ‘60s and ‘70s and reconnecting in the late 1980s
