Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, SPAMALOT is the musical with a book by Eric Idle and a score created by Eric Idle and John Du Prez.
Telling the legendary tale of King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table, and featuring a bevy of beautiful show girls, not to mention cows, killer rabbits and French people, Monty Python's SPAMALOT made its West End debut at The Palace theatre in September 2006 where it ran until the end of 2008. Since then it has toured the UK.
The cast of the UK tour of Spamalot who will be transferring into the West End with the production includes Marcus Brigstocke/King Arthur, former EastEnders actor Todd Carty /Patsy and Bonnie Langford as The Lady of the Lake.
Playing King Arthur’s loyal knights are Kit Orton (Sir Lancelot), Jon Robyns (Sir Galahad), Robin Armstrong (Sir Bedevere) and Rob Delaney (Sir Robin). The rest of the cast is made up of Adam Ellis, Tim Bonser, Niall Sheehey, Rachel Knowles, Hannah Malekzad, James Nelson, Michael Burgen and Amelia Adams-Pearse.
